“To love without condition, to talk without intention, to care without expectations that’s the spirit

Of true love, that’s how is our Radha Rani”

Today we are living hectic and multitasking life exacerbated by modern principles and techniques. As per its consequences, our atheistic thoughts are abruptly rising. With modern beliefs and practices our link with the supreme deity is fading or we can say faded to a great extent. Terming devotion and love as equal entities is not wrong. Similarly inculcating Radha Rani’s principal and love towards Krishna can bring a lot of euphoria and mental peace simultaneously enhancing a devotional life.

She is the personification of complete devotion (para bhakti) unto Krishna and is revered as epitome of selfless love and service towards Krishna. Homosapiens are subjected to natural and artificial changes which non-uniformly disturbs their life cycles. These disturbances serve as obstacle on the path of devotional life. As per result, the trust of individual towards his or her beloved deity decreases. But maintaining the synergy between material and non-material world is the true wisdom. One can learn from Radha Rani’s devotion and how she conquered material world with immense affection and proclivity towards her god. It is the perfect example of abdication of material things to unite with our divine god as no material thing is permanent. Inclusion of these virtues will free us from these disturbances concurrently helping us to live a peaceful life.

According to David Kinsley, a professor of religious studies (profound researcher on Hindu goddesses), the Radha-Krishna love story is a metaphor for divine-human relationship, where Radha is human devotee our soul who longs for her true love, the divine Krishna. Her passion and long quest corroborate that it is not difficult to win our almighty. Bhagwan Shri Krishna, who is the supreme Isvara of all existence and the god among gods, is attained by her mercy. Lord Krishna himself acknowledge her as his internal potency as she performs worship of her most beloved Shri Krishna with entire wealth of her devotion and service. Even the Narada-Pancaratra— an ancient Vaishnava literature that was compiled by Srila Vyasadeva says that Radha is Gokulesvari, the full embodiment of spontaneous love and personification of Mahabhava( highest spiritual state).

Understanding that the world is full of sorrow and its root cause is desire, one should not demand restlessly as quest for material thing is eternal. The ultimate goal or purpose of one’s life should be unification with deity. The human spirit (aatma) can attain salvation(moksha) by devoting herself or himself to the supreme after completing the duty towards human life ends. Shri Radha and her love and longing for lord Krishna can viewed as symbolic of the human quest for spiritual growth and union with divine.

In Sanskrit the term Rādhā means prosperity and success. The word prosperity and success sound common but they both need hard work. But on the other hand some kind of devotion towards our almighty or say Radha Rani is very essential. The continuous devotion and memorization of the divine keeps our mind free from negativity. The righteousness as a virtue comes when positivity surmounts us. Hence leading a successful life needs both devotional hard work. Similarly Radha despite being left by Shri Krishna continues to love her divine in the quest of unification with him.
