The new year is celebrated from midnight of December 31 to midnight of January 1st. It is one of the most celebrated days in the world. It marks the beginning of a new year. Everybody is excited. Children are excited about the holidays, going to their friend’s houses and playing while adults like going to malls, buying gifts, going to their relative’s houses and having a good time. New Year comes 6 days after Christmas.

So, there is obviously more pomp and splendour in the celebration. Malls and hotels are flooded by crowds of people who come for buying, gifts, enjoy themselves, have a good time or watch movies. as well t is celebrated in different ways and times across the globe.

Some people celebrate it during the spring season, while some others in the summer season and some even during the winter. The days in which they celebrate it may be harvest festivals, festivals to their deities or even according to the position of the moon or the sun. People celebrate it everywhere, anytime or at any place.

Some people feel generous and happy, and they give gifts to the poor, some give the poor clothes toys and other things which they do not need and some even give lots of money to the poor. Many people take many new year’s resolutions which often they do not follow.

Some people burn firecrackers and other things which cause a lot of air pollution and noise pollution. People do not even think about others who might have problems when they burst firecrackers. They just do that for their happiness. Because of that schools are closed; hospitals are full, and all other bad things are triggered.

Social media apps are flooded, and Traffic is there. Some people go to their relative’s houses for celebrating, some go to buy gifts etc. All people are going out because of some reason related to New Year.

Just that, no other things. Most people keep giving and giving to those who already have things and leave out the poor. Some people feel very tired because of all the honking, of vehicles, travelling, going to most of their relatives’ houses, visiting new places like monuments and malls, going to cinemas and obviously eating, eating, and eating. Some people stay home and watch some movies or new year’s specials. And most people invite all of their relatives and give them meals.

Then they talk about things like sporting events, movies or about their friends or about some film star, soccer star and whatnot and everybody goes back to their homes late at night. Those are some of the things people do on New Year’s Day and New Year’s Eve.

These days should be celebrated by helping the poor and not by giving more and more riches to the rich. People should not burst firecrackers and harm nature. It should be celebrated by not harming nature, making everyone happy, enjoyably and most importantly simply.
