Taj Mahal – The Architectural Masterpiece in the World

There are various architectural masterpiece in the world, and if we touch to the wonder there is seven numbers. 

We have to write in any one so to elaborate all is not required – we will be discussing on the one of the best architectural masterpiece i.e. monument made up of white marbles on the river bank of Yamuna between 1631-1643, for the beloved wife Mumtaz –by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.

 This monument show love and affection and it is also said the symbol of love and various people prefer to go to visit this monument after connecting with there better half.

Some of the details of Taj Mahal: It is also called as the dream of marble. It is also in the UNESCO’s world heritage  site. No. of hectare centrepiece – 17. There is various discussion for love or for the guilt but still it is a hidden mystery for all. For the preparation it is said that 22,000 workers let themselves involved as themselves for the victory which made pride for India and heritage for the world for long 22 yeas.

A Mughal era is celebrate for in the month of Feb. and arrangement is done in Taj Mahal itself.

Architect involved was Ustad Ahmad Lahauri with architectural style  “Mughal architecture, it is also said that it is one of the best example of Indo-Islamic architecture. It have most sparkling jewels of muslim, Marbles used of Makrana, Rajasthan – pure white marbles.

It is well protected from the natural calamity – as it is supported with the 4 pillars,

It also have the garden which make it more beautiful in looks as well as the frangnances.

 There are some hidden facts also which we can understand while visiting or having the deep study – red marble are also used – red is used as the exlcusive colour of imperial tents.

Various other thing is also there as throne of god, symbol love.

Purchased by Raja Jai Singh – it biggest challenge was the foundation as it is a big structure and on the bank of the river and stand of the building need to be stable to keep building stable and free from the natural calamity such as earth quake, floor, waves of river etc. So the pillars are finally made up of timber and filled with rubber, iron and mortar.

Material used – various material from entire India as well as Asia.Construction brief – wall of bricks (fire bricks), inner core rubber, marble/ sandstone locked together with iron dowels and clamps. Some of the walls are several metre thick – for the transportation plenty (1000’s) of elephants were used.

Actually it is mystery who designed it.

Some of the areas are – Taj Ganji ( Originally it was a bazzar/ market) towards the river side, Jilaukhana, Great gate, Charbhag, riverfront terrace, mausoleum (it have the maximum height which is approximately 67 metre), minaret, ,mosque.

It is such a monument which can’t be described in words it’s the beauty that can we feel not analysis as the sweetness of sugar can’t be explained but you can only feel when you taste it.

It is designed in such a way that it is cool always and it is such a typical task that still no one can create typical such structure after so much advancement also.

 Being white in colour – it colour changes with the direction of sun ( morning, noon, evening), in moon it seems as the glittering monuments, you can also view the same from train. 

Still it is the case study for the architect and the design selection is done from various place with the accuracy and all the works is done manually – hand cutting tools used with accuracy and the pattern is unique for the world – seem leaving monument for the use – with time it through sound knowledge of its strength and beauty.

 Moonlight garden is in the north – it is typical square with cross axial plan with square pool in its centre.

Mirror image is also there in the south corner – called saheli Burg, octagonal tomb is constructed in the rectangular platform.

Taj is the royal name even in the other parts of the country also,  words are less to define as with the different angle is differ and differ from people to people also.          

 It have the systematic geometric planning – express the idea of engineering with beauty. All the pillars can be visible at a time, each element plan to reflect elevation with iwans and with corner rooms
