Stay the same and don’t come here

Wished the world had stopped there itself. Our science and geography books truly said that the world is not the same every time. Though this statement was not understood at that time now I can relate to it very easily. The beauty and the charm that this world had in it is somewhere lost now. Not only the physical world but the people in this world have also changed. Today, I live in a society where people have got nothing to do with others. Here, people are self-centered and are only interested in their own development. The love that they had for their nature is also lost in the race of development. The smell of the flowers, the sound of the water flowing and the birds chirping around is now readable in the books only. The beautiful relation that humans and nature shared has also vanished somewhere in the clouds. Parents have got no interest in their children’s lives. They are not worried about their development. They have got no time for their family. Even though they live in the same house but they are not connected to each other in any way. You will be surprised to know that now there are timings allotted to the members of the family to talk, to sit, and even to eat together. The site of the children playing in the parks, the sound of the window hit by the ball is now overtaken by a room with the noise of the video game. Nowadays, people have got so many friends and well-wishers with them that when they actually require them by their side, they’ve got no one around. Sorry I forgot to mention that these friends are not like the ones that we had at that time, these are those friends which are just limited to like and share our pictures or can at most play an online game with us. I rarely get to see people talking selflessly. They talk to each other only to get their work done or for their own benefit and when it is done, they act back as strangers. Pity on those who wait endlessly and with great hopes to meet their children and grandchildren. But now they are remembered only when looking at the photographs.  The words Amma, Anna, Bhabhi, Didi, and many more have their own charm in it as each language in this world has a unique beauty in it and is more enhanced when you get to hear people calling each other through the relation names in their respective language. However, it is sad to say that all these names are now wrapped up into one common name i.e., the name of the person itself. Now people call each other with their names themselves no matter even if it is an elder, your relative or even if they are your own parents. The growing crime rate, violence, and unhealthy relationships are another threat to society. One of the greatness of our country lies in its culture, however, this has gradually degraded over the years. People have started celebrating the festivals and functions virtually in their own way by posting a story or a status or by clicking a picture in the required attire. However, above all the saddest part is that people have stopped listening to their hearts and are only driven by their minds. They have lost the human in them and have forgotten to thank the people in return. Today I live in an era where everyone around me wants to have sufficient food to eat and live but has got no humanity towards the person who is working hard to produce it. Today a doctor’s child is becoming a doctor, a lawyer’s child is becoming a lawyer but a farmer’s child is afraid of becoming a farmer. He is afraid to face the harshness of society. Now people have started following a dictionary in which the word WE is replaced by ME. So, I wish the world freeze there itself and I am filled only with its positiveness and beauty and never come to witness the bitterness of it.
