Karnataka is a southwestern state of India. In ancient Karnataka was known as the “state of Mysore”, later on, was named Karnataka on 01 November 1956. Now the state Karnataka is the seventh-largest state in India. The capital of Karnataka in Bengaluru. Karnataka is one of the prominent tourism hubs in India. The state is famous for Mysore silk, Sandalwood, Historical places like Hampi, Halebedu, Srirangapatanana, etc, and wooden toys from Channapatana. When it comes to food most of the district in the state has its own famous cuisines.

There are some best scrumptious delicacies cuisines to taste, where no one cannot miss out. Those ambrosial makes ‘em feel mouthwatering. There are a variety of tasty dishes which makes us move from region to region.

1. Mysore Masala Dosa :

This food is like permanent or pinned food in this state. It consists of a special red spice mix like chutney applied inside the dosa. the crispiness of dosa will make anyone eat much more. The best combinations for dosa is coconut chutney and aloo palya. The batter of dosa is made by soaking rice and some lentils overnight in water and after 6-7 hours then grinding into a batter. This crispy dosa is almost famous in south India.

  1. Ragi mudde:

Ragi mudde is one of the parts of Karnataka cuisine. It is famous in rural areas. Ragi mudde is prepared using ragi flour and water, stirred well and the dough is rolled into balls. Ragi mudde has many combinations to eat such as soppina saru, and for nonvegetarians, it’s with chicken sambar, then it’s ready to swallow. It has many health benefits, it makes bone strengthen, it avoid weakness, makes a person healthy, fit, and active.

  1. Bisi Bele Bath:

Bisi Bele Bath is the most popular food in south India. We find this amazing or delicious food in each and every restaurant in Karnataka. It is also like the Pinned food of Karnataka. The taste and aroma of Bisi bele bath make us feel like want much more. This meal is prepared with rice, lentils, and vegetables cooked then will add some dry coconut with tamarind paste. It is served with some mixtures. Bisi Bele bath is one of the flavourful dishes.

  1. Thatte Idli:

Idli is well known in India. The regular Idli is made smaller and thicker while the Thatte Idli is famous in Bidadi(Ramnagar district), Thatte Idli is a bit larger and thicker too. The batter of Idli is similar to dosa batter, urad dal and rice is soaked in water for 6-7 hours. It is well known in Bidadi town, combinations for Thatte Idli is coconut chutney, butter, and also sambar too.

  1. Udupi Tomato Rasam:

When it comes to south Indian thali the Rasam is very rich in taste and aroma too. Rasam is simple to do, it is made with tomato and tamarind. It looks too simple and has the power to digest. Rasam is mostly used after having a heavy meal that is for the sake of digestion. This is an amazing appetizer with a spicy luscious concoction.

  1. Mysore Pak:

The most favorite dessert food of everyone in Karnataka. The richest and royal sweet in Mysore especially. The dish Mysore Pak was originated in Mysore. The Maharaj of Mysore Krishnaraja Wodayar’s favorite dessert and is made with a huge amount of ghee, sugar, gram flour, and cardamom. The texture of the Mysore Pak is soft and fudge. As we put it into our mouth it melts like ice and gives us a scrumptious flavor.
