The World Of Spiritual Crises

Spiritual crises is the emptiness of the soul or an irreparable loss of purpose or rather injustice done to the spirit of sacred offerings.

WHY IT IS CREATED?

Our karma is much broader than personal. It is associated with society and our nation. Sometimes the part of ego and avarice cupidity makes us unconscious and we create a monster out of us. We assemble hatred in our mind, turned to evil, and rewarded with punishment.

Our own action brings us some shade of pain and rejections.

The crisis is generated when action is without any motivation or selfless act.

The next reason is to agonize. When any occurrence is caused without sincerity, we live each day with sufferings and anxiety.

Ignorance and indecency develop a complex of self-adulation which is without right consciousness turn to be a snare.

We should not be supposed to execute work only to get appreciation from anyone. The moment we start feeling superior or argue with captivating thoughts there will be the death of spirituality.

TRANSITION:

We are advised to ban our obstinate thinking. There is always a vigilant form of progress when the body is opened to the force to receive strength against odds, illness, and fatigue.

SPIRITUAL VIOLENCE:

It is the outcome of our mind occupied with entirely extraneous thoughts or distracting thoughts. Social transformation, social awareness call for spiritual action. This is the effective change, a powerful change that creates a vacuum. Basic calmness and peace is the real foundation. The vacuum is not allowed to continue, it should not get connected with positive powers. Art, music, and literature are the cultural values and beliefs which depicts uplift of mind and aspect to spiritual accomplishment.

Rape is spiritual death. The multiple sufferings, the experience of a violent and brutal assault, denial of justice, shame, self-blame are spiritual molestation. The savage soul needs healing. Mother of Pondicherry says

         ‘Never worry

Do with sincerity all you do and leave the results

         To divine care.’

SHADOW OF EGO:

In the spiritual journey, the core thing is divine love and a self-giving soul without any claim.

The dark side of us is evil. It dominates over perfection and enlightenment. The company of demons is delightful. This aspect is unknown, hidden, and negative. We should defeat this ego full of low self-esteem, anxieties, false beliefs, ignorance, and moral deficiency.

It is the kind of illusion that must encounter that allows consciousness to gain more clarity. The bathos, timidity, and fictitious fantasies will be overcome by self-education by which one can control his act of awareness and help us to progress and develops further.

SHORT OF PERFECTION:

Do not let your soul betrayed by falsehood and anti-spiritual movements. Internal insincerity and treachery are the obstacles in the path of the foundation of divinity.

SPIRITUAL ELITISM:

There are rich people with an ego of wealth. He could conquer everything in this universe but could he be the noblest victor by conquering himself through the process of renunciation and generosity?

SPIRITUAL WARFARE:

Diabolical power involving bloodshed and deliberate intention is to cause gruesome damage to our soul.

The combination of effort and grace will give exact perfection. Whatever and whenever we do our duty we must do it sincerely, honestly, and scrupulously.

The world is full of suffering and pain. It is quite true that wrong words initiate wrong movement detriment to one’s spiritual well-being.

Only a higher source of knowledge can eliminate personal prejudices.

We should practice mindfulness.

According to K.R SRINIVASA, when you forget about yourself the hostiles would not attack you.

MALADIES OF SOUL:

Until we spoke bravely, unless we smiled brightly all grief and bereavement will be a normal process and is painful. The intensity of grieving is a struggle with fear, loss, and a sense of feeling alone.

Mira Alfassa the mother of Pondicherry always has said to expand ourselves, enlarge ourselves, and let us live each day without anxiety.

‘Why worry beforehand about something, that will probably never happen.’

The divine grace always evokes us to proceed towards sadhana.

M.P. Pandit in his book “Art of Living” explains the positive outcome of one’s belief in endless action greater than himself. He was discussing affirmative spirituality and hold views of Mother in ‘The Mother’s Insight,’ where mother advises putting an end on doing something with rushing thought. She said to think over it and about it and to make calm decisions. It saves us from fallacy and gives chance to our inner conscience and withholding decisions for a while which will make a big difference. Affirmative spirituality is a source of encouragement, a prayer that develops our will to act on the right path.

INTERNAL MISERY:

Internal misery is the outcome of being lie to oneself. People overlook their own deeds, and performance. The very easy way to escape from self-criticism is to come up with excuses and not to encounter performance. To improve we should learn to show gratitude and gratefulness to god and persons around us who have helped us to discover happiness. If it is still hard to bring about the psychic change we need a guru. Guru is necessary to lead one to a meaningful and purposeful life.

Mother, the heavenly goddess on earth taught us about the division between force and consciousness in the evolutionary existence to attend aesthetic, and creative aims.

‘The Life Divine’ written by Sri Aurobindo would give us the full-fledged idea to comprehend wisdom.

Swami Vivekananda once came to Ram Krishna Paramhans in Dakshineswar when he was in a state of mental dissension. He was in a belief that he is maltreating his soul. He had a question for Ram Krishna that how he could remove the misery of humanity?

Ram Krishna answered him that when his body will accept only purity and integrity, his soul would attain perfection and nothing could distract him on this divine earth.

When a divine power would lift the envelope he would find the solution to the problem of the concurrence of divine justice and sufferings.

It happened ultimately and his body felt restored. His soul bathed in peace and he realized that time has come to fulfill his spiritual expedition.

RITUALS AND ITS EFFECTS:

In a few words, rituals can be assembled as a positive power connected with the soul to strengthen relationships.

Besides religious rituals, the other side of ritual is the philosophy and vision of greatness. It increases happiness, calm our anxiety, and bring joy to billions.

HEALING THE BRUISED HEART:

Divine Mother, Sri Aurobindo, and other aficionados, their disciples teaches us the following rational and logical conception which can suppress spiritual distress.

Let us look into the following ways:

  1. A) CONSENT- realization of god for obtaining eternal peace especially in the time of stress, strain, and restlessness.
  2. B) Be on the affirmative side of life- concurrence of active faith and connection to god.
  3. C) Developing a sense of self-adulation and to participate in the struggle of others.
  4. D) The wonder of the world, transmission of thought, the infinite power, and the law of attraction are embedded in holy books. The secret of religion, its purpose, civilization, rich culture, and their legendary existence is spreading knowledge to the whole world.
  5. E) The surrender and the consequent transformation of the whole being to attain a blissful life which is much higher than material happiness through yoga, a study of sastras, aesthetics, uplifting Tapasya is highly recommended.

THE SUPRAMENTAL(Sri Aurobindo’s philosophy of supermind in his book of Savitri):

When a common being is going through the transition to a higher level of consciousness transforms into a divine being.

He found oneness in all things, perfection in everything (which would be rather an astonishing claim), and the dormant form of supreme consciousness is no more hidden no more limited. The ego, selfishness, and greed will be uprooted and provide the ultimate solution to human problems.  Sri Aurobindo says ‘the power of love, of truth, of right, will be there not as a law mentally considered but as the very substance and the constitution of nature…’’

In the midst of normal occupation, in the restless time of stress and strain, god’s realization would help us to find out eternal and peace and contentment.

MENTAL DISSENSION IS TO BE REMOVED:

We came across several political dissents such as protest, protest march, strike riots, and so on.

The question is then what is mental dissension? Swami Vivekananda was in such a state where he was frustrated, unable to address problems, or can express his ideas to someone who can actually do something.

He then came to Ramkrishna Paramahansa and disclosed his mental conflict. Then Ramkrishna spoke about Vedanta and suggest him to free his mind from worldly attachments where his mind would reach a realm of silence.

The soul will be empty from worldly ideas and the pure mind will become intuitively aware of truths about god.

Swami Samarpanananda in his writings clearly expresses, ‘god is no object to be seen, he is neither any idea that can be proved.

But when the mind becomes silent and cultivates meditation one could realize the tangible presence of God in human form with self-effort.

So let us identify our triggers. We should not choose to expose ourselves to situations that affect our brain, self-esteem, and ability to reach our goals.

Find a better reason to quit bad habits and arguments.

Leading a meaningful life where the role of karma(as said in Gita) envisages the transformation of consciousness. The combination of veda, sastra, utsaha, prayer, guru, Integral yoga (Bases of Yoga, book written by Sri Aurobindo) will help us to know the value of god, reduces the painful feeling of pain, and produce miracles.
