The entertainment industry never fails to impress and influence us with its realistic approach to explain the ideas. Portraying a script written on paper into a realistic drama, the industry always has something new in the bag for us every day. Be it a documentary, or a fictional movie, we are always stunned by the great performances our beloved actors deliver for impressing us. Each time we see a movie, there are certain depictions or scene which catches our attention and leaves behind an impression that cannot be forgotten easily. This is the power of movies and plays in our lives.

The youth of our times surely learns a plethora of things from movies. It creates an unforgettable impression on them and teaches them the difference between right and wrong. Most often, movies always end with the protagonist winning the fight he has been fighting, sometimes movies can make a dark impact on the lives of youth. Negative characters portrayed with such a brilliance of acting, youth get often perplexed into comprehending what is wrong or right. Though there exist movies that teach the right lessons, sometimes while delivering the right messages through the movie, younger generations can get confused and may revamp the entire trajectory of how they approach their career ahead.

What is wrong with today’s movies?

Cutting to the chase and addressing the elephant in the room, some movies are made to inspire the youth by telling them about how great the leaders and entrepreneurs were. Many times, these movies fail to instill the right impact on younger generations, and confusing them that entrepreneurship can lead to instant success in the career. Though the duration of the movies is short, and it is impossible to address all the hassle and struggle that goes into making oneself a successful businessman, leading a successful business empire, movies shall focus on struggle more than showcasing the empire the entrepreneur has created. To talk about details, there are plenty of things that are ignored just for the sake of making the movie a commercial hit. These movies earn millions on the box office and convince the young generation of a journey of entrepreneurship that will have no struggles.

Hundreds of movies depict the legends who are extremely successful in their journey of entrepreneurship, often fail to represent the message they wanted to deliver to young impressionable generations. A single person cannot create a business empire. We see names like Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, and Jeff Bezos reaching the pinnacle of success, but most of the time movies fail to show the struggle they have been through to reach the epitome of success. An entrepreneur has to go through the immense struggle and has to tackle a myriad of challenges before becoming successful. Not even struggle gets them through, but the research on the subject and potential investors are what makes a business successful, but movies often ignore these trivial details and focus on how you can become rags to riches, enjoying the luxury out of life.

The reality

Movies should really show the harsh realities instead of brainwashing folks who will get a wrong impression after watching the movie. Following the passion is great, and one should always follow their passion. But sometimes while following the passion and turning it into big business, there exist a plethora of risks. These risks can lead to success or failure. Movies showing 9-5 jobs as a poor way of living life, often fails to represent the security we get with jobs. These jobs can be enjoyed as well, a perfectly balanced life can be lived around the job. These jobs as shown in the movie does not suck out the fun in life, instead provide you with a perfect work-life balance.

Healthcare is of grave concern in the current world. A steady job provides your healthcare plan and puts food on your table. We must not forget that majority of the population are doing a job, and are perfectly happy in their life. Polishing your skills, and getting promotions can also lead to a successful life. An entrepreneur may create the business, but behind the curtain, there are talented people who are the ones who are driving these businesses. Many movies will not tell you about these people, but only show you half the picture that shows the poster boy becoming an instant hit. A steady job gives you a steady life, insurance of life.

Conclusion

The reason behind compiling this article is not to discourage the young minds out there from giving up the dreams but make them realize that what we are watching only lasts 3 hours. The message of the article is to tell the younger generations that they should not decide their entire career based on a movie that only lasts 3 hours. If you want to be successful entrepreneurship, you should embrace yourself for the struggle, hardship, hard work, sleepless nights, and proper motivation. Many times you will fail, but you should not give up and fight to live another day.
